<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I recieved these samples of Lioele BB creams probably over a year ago when I ordered a Lioele Powder Pact and for whatever reason have never used them, so recently I've had an interest in investing in one so decided testing them out first would be the best way.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used one sample of the Beyond the Solution BB before, but over a year ago and all I can remember is that it was higher coverage than I expected and there was a lot more product in the sample than I expected.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Some people like comparing two face products by putting one on one half of the face and the other on the other half, but I decided as I only have samples which I don't want to waste I'd just do them on seperate days.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Everything I'm writing is in "real time" of when it happens, I figured this would be the best way of me portraying my first impressions rather than from memory, which is why it will all be written in present tense.</div>

<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have a lot of spots and red areas at the moment, so I'm looking for something with decent coverage which won't irritate my skin or slide off. I have oily/combination skin so applied a small amount of moisturiser to my cheeks which get dry.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The sample was probably enough for 2 applications.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The cream comes out white, but if you look VERY closely you can see tiny dots of pigment which I guess are activated when you rub the cream in. After looking on the website I discovered they actually have a purple based BB and a green based BB, purple for yellow tones, green for red tones; from what I can tell I think I had the green based BB. I used my fingers for application and I liked the consistency, it wasn't too thick nor too thin and it blended in well.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The cream appears to me like a medium coverage with a demi matte finish. You can still see your skin underneath, and obviously without using concealer things like my spots come through slightly.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Due to having lots of product left I decided to try and see what would happen if I tried to build it up so I did this over my undereyes, chin and my nose. Overall I didn't see much difference in adding more but I think if you wanted a higher coverage you could just add concealer to any problem areas.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The cream felt slightly sticky to the touch as it was setting but one it was set it felt fairly soft.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Deciding to stay with the brand, I used my Lioele Be My Skin Powder Pact in #21 Blooming Ivory with my Real Techniques Blush brush (which I like to use as an all over powder brush) to set the BB cream as my oily skin is guaranteed to remove any liquid product pretty quickly without it. This left the skin with a demi matte/matte finish.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So over the first half an hour to an hour wearing this BB cream I felt pretty aware that I had stuff on my face. I don't know if this is because I'm not used to having a product this high a coverage on my face but the feeling went once I got used to it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In real life my face is now a more demi matte - dewy finish and I do feel like I could use an oil blotting paper (which I definitely would if I wasn't doing this first impressions). On camera I am a tad more shiny, but again something I think a blotting paper would fix. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There's a very slight gathering on the product in the lines under my eyes and there was also some weird gathering lines on the right side of my nose which my camera couldn't really pick up; I don't know if these were caused by me itching my nose or what but I rubbed them in and they went. From far away you can't see any gathering and it looks fine.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I still feel like the coverage is there, my skin is still even and my contour has pretty much stayed with maybe a tiny bit of fading.</div>

Due to lack of sunlight the "no flash" picture is still using artificial lighting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
By 8 hours I felt I had a dewy finish on my skin, but I wasn't horribly shiny nor was it anything a shine sheet couldn't fix. The coverage evening out my skin was mostly there, although some redness came through around my nose and on my cheeks near my nose.</div>

(Apologies for my wet hair)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think BTS BB has a good coverage, about medium/high, and nice and even. It feels smooth as you blend it into the skin, which I did with my fingers and has a demi matte finish. It feels sticky to the touch, stickier than the Dollish BB and has some shine with a flash on the camera.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also found it gathered in the lines under my eyes immediately, but it doesn't cling to any dry patches.</div>

Even with powder on top (the same Lioele powder used as before), it still feels sticky and slightly uncomfortable on the skin, again, more so than with Dollish BB. The shine is almost gone with flash with powder on the top; it still feels demi matte but a bit more matte then before powder.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The sticky feeling lasted at least an hour and a half and currently if I touch my face with my hand it still doesn't feel fully set and I would like to use a blotting wipe BUT I do like how the BB cream looks. I don't think there's much difference in how it's worn over the past 4 hours in pictures, although I am a bit more shiny with flash, and my contour doesn't seem to have faded in real life at all. There is a bit of gathering of the product in the lines under my eyes and on the sides of my nose though. Overall I think it's holding up well so far.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">4 hours later, 8 hours total</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizgjVOcoSaDm1-EhuBj4Sb-7s15aOTsOK8Gc70d3hYTEtyw_J6qiWrOFgw9J23jFH3_m2sL5-mYGxumrA2NjYSVKOlBiUnru-R6IC1Krr01UAKy05I0aGLCdzDuwDJpuro4UXDTRnbveAR/s1600/8hrs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="297" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizgjVOcoSaDm1-EhuBj4Sb-7s15aOTsOK8Gc70d3hYTEtyw_J6qiWrOFgw9J23jFH3_m2sL5-mYGxumrA2NjYSVKOlBiUnru-R6IC1Krr01UAKy05I0aGLCdzDuwDJpuro4UXDTRnbveAR/s320/8hrs.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So after the 8 hours I still felt like most of the product stayed in place, but I noticed some redness showing around my nose. I also saw some gathering of the BB cream on my forehead, around my nostrils and in the lines under my eyes. By 8 hours the BB cream was more dewy/oily.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think if I had used blotting papers during the day it would've been less oily meaning the product wouldn't have broken down so much and gathered in certain places, but on it's own it's not brilliant for my oily skin.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS2tmV3p3bK97qaaMSRfWGi_t65Hh58Y5Tf4eo8slwxjoG9RShPWK8HJ7VNOFpcEU2Ww5qDFKnXfsb4eV99r3SAc3E6KEzvb7BOwXTi6wktH2zeh8rtql5FfsQ6w2kubGRB07FiF8BqMcF/s1600/half8hrs.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS2tmV3p3bK97qaaMSRfWGi_t65Hh58Y5Tf4eo8slwxjoG9RShPWK8HJ7VNOFpcEU2Ww5qDFKnXfsb4eV99r3SAc3E6KEzvb7BOwXTi6wktH2zeh8rtql5FfsQ6w2kubGRB07FiF8BqMcF/s320/half8hrs.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can see some coverage and evenness is still there where the BB cream is in comparison to my half of the face with no make-up which I can appreciate.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ3GGnAfnsu8fl4wS23oxu16orNjyMqpBAGUND9dYO0ZzyLFvPldNrLb_ubA1mFYtO6HQDQqdtrKKAovnNPf-pdAaSs1gOgARsbXsEhZA9Yvoa650cOmu1AVrz6Oo7E2Z3j7q-utXcRL57/s1600/beyond.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="321" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ3GGnAfnsu8fl4wS23oxu16orNjyMqpBAGUND9dYO0ZzyLFvPldNrLb_ubA1mFYtO6HQDQqdtrKKAovnNPf-pdAaSs1gOgARsbXsEhZA9Yvoa650cOmu1AVrz6Oo7E2Z3j7q-utXcRL57/s400/beyond.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall I think both the BB creams are good, but dependent on your skin and your needs would decide which you invest in. I think I prefer the Dollish Veil Vita BB cream, but I would probably be happy with either and I'm pretty used to having to pay attention to what my foundation/BB cream/tinted moisturiser is doing due to my oily/combo skin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think it's unfortunate but uncommon that BB creams only come in lighter shades, even on the Western market. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think I'll try out some different foundations first before deciding to invest in either of these products though.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/iuCdpwGTth4?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've been interested in heated curlers for a while, but I have a pretty big thing against using heat on my hair so one night while searching I found a brand called <a href="http://sleepinrollers.com/">sleep-in rollers</a>. They cost about £25 for 20 curlers which look around an inch and a half each. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Being a cheap skate I obviously started a search for a cheaper alternative, plus the sleep-in rollers look quite large which unless your hair is down to your bum isn't gonna do much except make a kink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I managed to find <a href="http://treasureeverymoment01.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/strawberry-sleep-in-rollers-for-199.html">this person's review</a> and decided I'd give them a go myself</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I decided to get 24 of them from <a href="http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/dtwell7?_trksid=p2047675.l2559">this ebay seller</a> for £3.36 - they're sold in loads of places online but this is probably the cheapest you can get them (and they're exactly the same everywhere)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
They took around 2 weeks to arrive but I'd rather wait a bit longer than pay triple the price!</div>

They smell a bit plasticy when you take them out the packet so I recommend taking them out as soon as you get them and maybe waiting about a week if you're concerned about it making your hair smelly (especially as your hair is porous, although I haven't noticed any smell in my hair from the packet I opened just before putting them in)</div>

These things are so nice and soft they weren't a problem to lay on at all</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
5 curlers fell out in my sleep, which still left a curl but you'll see in these picture's the curls are a lot looser than the ones which stayed.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As I thought, I was left with fairly tight curls which I wasn't too bothered about because you can loosen them up yourself and they'll do so naturally throughout the day.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To loosen up the curls I ran my fingers through them and pulled them apart gently. DO NOT BRUSH YOUR HAIR, I did it on one half and... just... frizz... I managed to save it by twirling about inch sized chunks of hair and applying pantene pro v split end serum to the ends (I don't know why it helped, it just did). This also helped with the kind of matted frizzy look/feel my ends had (I know, gross, but I kind of expected it)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Also as expected, the top of my hair had basically no volume so I added a bit of dry shampoo and tied bits from the front of my hair into a mini ponytail which I tucked into itself.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think if your hair is much longer than mine you won't get away with these, they fell out of mine enough and the only curl I get is on the ends. I think the ideal length of hair for these would be just above the boob, but of course if you're curious you might as well give them a go for £1.68 for 12!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall I like the effect they've given my hair and I'm gonna carry on experimenting with these to figure out if there's a way of perfecting the curls. I think with any type of curl that isn't using a curling iron they'll end up a bit uneven and not perfect looking, but for a day-to-day not too much effort and 0 heat way of curling hair, this is a pretty safe bet!</div>

So while I was waiting for my strawberry curlers (review coming soon) to arrive, I was being impatient and decided I wanted to try and figure out if I could curl my hair without heat. I think I'm gonna start a series of posts called "search for heatless curls" as I hate using heat on my hair but I love how my hair looks curly.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've previously done pin-curls, but being lazy as I am I decided I'd give it a go with two buns rather than lots of little swirls.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The only things I used were bobby pins</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfkxiNwJFihC5_MbOHJR8RktBXvvqhlQSsCiwhweO07VUuJm1764gxCJ7LUjDEJN4uh9bpP-tM5O7huuQtTiUNC_nH2x2c1kGoFZaJRIiji4yH9Hohkbc2n-grnTntLzzGsQyaMc6Rb0Fd/s1600/bobby.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="274" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfkxiNwJFihC5_MbOHJR8RktBXvvqhlQSsCiwhweO07VUuJm1764gxCJ7LUjDEJN4uh9bpP-tM5O7huuQtTiUNC_nH2x2c1kGoFZaJRIiji4yH9Hohkbc2n-grnTntLzzGsQyaMc6Rb0Fd/s320/bobby.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I know everyone knows what bobby pins are, but I've included a picture to let you know that these ones suck and you should not get them</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my hair naturally and already dry</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZDLd-NtUaWHSPor6_zhQjYrf_HJCfhBUYPTRIhpBu1YR6RI8YtGQPs9faS7u4Y99jKcKFtTKmdheexlmIzjovBQ9_kfuH2P3Kq9vifzXmZRecBG7IB_AgyFpUW7CThxdtzi_MqmkDvysn/s1600/2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="310" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZDLd-NtUaWHSPor6_zhQjYrf_HJCfhBUYPTRIhpBu1YR6RI8YtGQPs9faS7u4Y99jKcKFtTKmdheexlmIzjovBQ9_kfuH2P3Kq9vifzXmZRecBG7IB_AgyFpUW7CThxdtzi_MqmkDvysn/s320/2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I did two spiral buns on the side of my head (I only got a good picture of one). I just twirled my hair around until it naturally started to form a bun then used bobby pins to put it in place. I purposely twirled my hair away from my face rather than towards. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then used a spray bottle with water in to dampen the hair; I think if I do it again I would do it on already damp hair</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think I slept on these and it wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but not awful either.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When I took them out I was left with a very relaxed, messy and uneven curl: </div>

As much as I liked how it looked, I unfortunately forgot to put hairspray on so the curls fell within a day. As I said before, if I were to do it again I would do it on damp hair; I think it would help the curls work better.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall I think these are a decent, cheap and non-damaging way to get curls. I've only experimented with this once but I think if I practiced I could get the curls a bit neater - but like any wet to dry hairstyle you never really know until the end. </div>

So the original Tangle Teezer retails for about £10 which frankly for me is a ridiculously amount for a hair brush. I have however been really interested in it for about a year now since my friend online recommended it and says how she loves it. I've also seen youtubers loving Tangle Teezer style brushes, saying they'd found random dupes on the internet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Finally someone about a week ago was talking about how they keep their hair in good condition, one of their points being how they have invested in a good hair brush. I'd never thought of this concept before, but it makes sense so I figured I'd give it a go. They didn't actually mention what type of brush they use but I decided that this was the point I wanted to actually search for some sort of Tangle Teezeresk brush, coming across various different things, but this one catching my eye the most:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitxZr7V-e93eRDmz-80muHeB9N1VtiX4xmOqKvfT-CVcXUhfxgm7mFkwnBaKVFfeBbmtP_5t-1Vlcy8vjiHsCY_PQsOa0flL11GSAUkMX2RuDVT97mpYEJw2ayg7Cln_yTwuKzrEq858YR/s1600/1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitxZr7V-e93eRDmz-80muHeB9N1VtiX4xmOqKvfT-CVcXUhfxgm7mFkwnBaKVFfeBbmtP_5t-1Vlcy8vjiHsCY_PQsOa0flL11GSAUkMX2RuDVT97mpYEJw2ayg7Cln_yTwuKzrEq858YR/s320/1.JPG" width="229" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I got this from ebay seller <span class="mbg-nw" style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: Arial, Trebuchet, 'Trebuchet MS'; font-size: 13px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-align: start; text-decoration: none; white-space: nowrap;"><a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271207334534?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="background-color: white;">shop4allsorts</span></span> for £3.99</a>,</span> who sold all the colours (purple, pink and black) at the same price, whereas the others I had seen sold purple and pink for more then the black (and I wanted purple but refused to pay more haha). It actually says they choose the colour at random but I messaged the seller asking to have a purple if possible which they said was fine.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The outside packaging is, in my opinion, a bit much for such a small product; however I do like knowing no one's had their grubby fingers all in my hair brush. I've touched the Tangle Teezer in store as they have a little hole where you can touch it, and I THINK (don't quote me on this) these bristles may be a tiny TINY bit stiffer than the Tangle Teezer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It comes with a case you can keep it in, which I believe only the flower pot (£10.99) and compact (12.25) Tangle Teezer offer. Although when I first saw this lid/case thing I thought it was a bit pointless, now I think about it it's quite handy for things like travelling; the bristles won't get squished and if something spills in my bag it won't go all in the bristles. Unlike the Tangle Teezers compact, the lid fully covers the bristles.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The case/lid thing also includes a tiny mirror... which is, nice I guess?</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The shape is actually something I really like, I've never owned a hairbrush without a handle however the curvature of this product fits really nicely into the hand.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5nQbqUAshsd8xSudSqyAsXPYdQKelW7iVmztJuQeQa4gHXQ3y0TEkLjJePf1Zhmvrc3H8fZJniKja2oaBXMSDzNAeCgklPCy0yGJOM_JNMjaf9iHUO3-1o_xu7q-rhRBLZu-vEYxCgpMh/s1600/5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="141" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5nQbqUAshsd8xSudSqyAsXPYdQKelW7iVmztJuQeQa4gHXQ3y0TEkLjJePf1Zhmvrc3H8fZJniKja2oaBXMSDzNAeCgklPCy0yGJOM_JNMjaf9iHUO3-1o_xu7q-rhRBLZu-vEYxCgpMh/s320/5.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The bristles alternate between long and short, they also give a kind of massaging effect when it's on your head which I really like. It gets my hair smooth and knot-free really quickly and without pain; it also doesn't leave my hair static which is a big plus.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall I really like it and it feels pretty sturdy so hopefully it won't break any time soon.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
(My camera has shown the purple colour as more of an indigo, the bottom picture probably represents the colour best but I recommend looking at the professional pictures online for a better colour reference.)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqMXjvklHm2IdN07jlm1FdKqaLGF8K3_J-TDaKg0jKFTEouNNZswlLnIqkZqWfO5MSgcFMCp_KBpxSKoCMFz2xvG181vljh4wfk4i87Q7OxwELGF2j3-CcrNf7zepBa2r_Q0OZbisX5fHn/s1600/rgaveayrd.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqMXjvklHm2IdN07jlm1FdKqaLGF8K3_J-TDaKg0jKFTEouNNZswlLnIqkZqWfO5MSgcFMCp_KBpxSKoCMFz2xvG181vljh4wfk4i87Q7OxwELGF2j3-CcrNf7zepBa2r_Q0OZbisX5fHn/s320/rgaveayrd.PNG" width="318" /></a></div>
<br />
I went on the <a href="http://bleachblon.de/">website she said she got them from</a>, and basically they were a ridiculous amount of money along with P+P from the US, so I weeped and decided against it. Plus to me the person selling them looked like she'd bought a pair of shoes, stuck flowers on them then was reselling them, which made me begin my hunt for the original shoe (especially as she shortly after removed her version of the shoe from her website).<br />
<br />
THEN, I have no idea how, about a week ago I came across them on <a href="http://www.xtremefootwear.co.uk/">Xtremefootwear</a>, I have no idea how I came to be there but I FOUND THE SHOES!! Me being me, now finding out the actual name of the shoe I continued to search the entire internet to see if I could find them cheaper anywhere else, ALAS I could not (although they were cheaper from American websites, the P+P made them ridiculously more) so I decided that £64.49 (reduced from £85.99) + £5.99 P+P (boo P+P) was the best deal I was gonna get. It was around midnight when I got them and basically do not let me anywhere near shopping websites around midnight because all thoughts of savings and budgets for whatever reason are forgotten and SHOES ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!!!!!! (I have since put myself on a clothes/shoes/accessories ban for at least a month, and so far it is going well.)<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.xtremefootwear.co.uk/gothic/womens/ankle/mid-calf-boots/ranger-301-black-matt-goth-boot/prod_1074.html">Xtremefootwear</a> describes them as "3.5 inch heel, Lace up gothic boots, PVC matt finish" and <a href="http://www.demonia.co.uk/demonia-ranger-301-platform-black-matt-chunky-heel-lace-up-ankle-boot.html#.UWVv_JPFWuo">Demonia</a> describes them as "Ranger 301 are a gothic black matte style with laces up the front and chunky 3 1/2" heel and platform". I don't know why they both fail to mention they have a zip up on the inside, especially as in the picture they use it doesn't show one - the only reason I knew/assumed there was is because of grav3yard girls picture as well as searching the shoe on the internet which showed other angles.<br />

<br />
They arrived this morning and in my Christmas pajamas proceeded to put them on and they are GREAT. Admittedly at first they were slightly difficult to walk in, simply because they're such a big boot/platform, a style of shoe I've never owned or walked in before; but once I started tottering around I got the hang of it. I haven't yet worn them further than my back garden and am slightly worried about the reactions I will get from people, but since when did other peoples opinions matter?<br />
<br />
Unfortunately not real leather, but if they were they'd be a whole lot more money. I'm a UK size 5 and with socks on they fit pretty well, not quite true to size, maybe slightly larger and more like a 5 and a half, but being big boots that go up your leg it doesn't matter too much as they stay on. I have fairly normal/narrow feet and I think if you were someone with slightly wider feet you'd be alright in these.<br />
<br />
Overall, I love them and am considering putting my own flowers on them like the picture, but for now I'll leave them alone.<br />

How well a dye works is gonna depend on certain things: what colour your hair was before, what colour you're making it and your specific hair type. If you're reading this I'm gonna assume you know, but I'll point it out anyway: if you're going to dye your hair an unnatural colour and expect it to be as bright as my hair below, the colour needs to be going over a BLONDE. Preferably as white as possible, which is not what I always did hence uneven results. </div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
I'm super non-picky with how a dye lasts, like I don't mind it fading in loads of places and being uneven or whatever as long as it's still there after 3 washes.</div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
The dye I've mostly used is Directions, simply because the amount of product and the price work it out to be best value for money, and I like their colour range.</div>

<br />
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
Generally, I probably like Directions best. The texture of the product isn't too watery nor too thick, I like that it's in a pot so I can get all the product out, it lasts alright, but all of the dyes are semi permanent so none are gonna last perfectly. The way it fades is also something I like, unless the blonde underneath was patchy, it fades altogether and not tooooo patchy (see faded turquoise above).</div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
Stargazer is another favourite, the only reason I don't get it is because I don't like the packaging and there's less product in them than Directions. It lasts well but the only reason I went for it over directions with my purple this time is because I've heard it washes out of hair completely which is what I want (which so far I'm not seeing..) One thing I can say is that it remains vibrant, although my purple hair has faded, it's still bright and not as dull as purple haze by manic panic was when that faded.</div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
Manic Panic: I've only used the amplified version which is supposed to last longer. I used purple haze, purple generally being a colour that is notorious for fading; in comparison to the stargazer purple I currently have, I don't think the "amplified" part is worth the extra money. I did/do love the colour of purple haze though, but I do feel like stargazer is lasting better. The physical consistency of manic panic is slightly more watery than directions - not to say it's runny or anything, just a tad thinner. The packaging of Manic Panic is also something I like, it's in a pot like Directions but a bigger pot - but considering in England the majority of the time you have to buy it online and it is pricey, I don't think it's better than Directions.</div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
Crazy Colour, I found pants. The picture above shows it's already fading, I put it in before going on holiday to France for 2 weeks and it had faded by the end of the holiday - and not nicely. Dull, nasty shades of blue and bits of white everywhere. I'd understand if I went to a hot part of France, where the sun would've bleached it and it'd be understandable, but it wasn't. It was English Spring/Summer weather, not enough to cause it to be as bad as it was. But, referring to my original point, I have a friend who could not for the life of them get fish bowl by crazy colour out of their hair. It remained even, consistent and bright for them even when they bleached/stripped/shoved lemon juice in it; hair type and original colour makes a difference.<br />
<br />
But what do you think? What are your experiences? Have I helped you in your wonderful weird hair journey?<br />

Yesterday, I went to a Christmas meal at my grandma's wearing the playsuit above.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It comes in wine red or black, however I believe both are now sold out (boo, I wanted the red). Although it is an extortionate amount of money for such a small piece, I do love how it looks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My complaints would be about the back of the piece, which I have not shown here. It has the most awkward way of being put on and taken off, including two separate clasps on the mid and high back (which I am awful at explaining) as well as a zip on the shorts. This trio makes it almost impossible to go to the toilet/get dressed/get undressed on your own (as if normal playsuits weren't hair enough)! I'm considering sewing some elastic into the back so I can slip it on and off instead.</div>

I finally reached 1000 subscribers on my <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/meowismfulbeauty" target="_blank">youtube channel</a> and I'm doing a giveaway to celebrate :D</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/ae57jvVzxEQ?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To some people 1000 subscribers isn't a lot but I think it's a crazy amount, that's just the amount who have accounts and are subscribed, there are still people who watch me without accounts/being subscribed! And 1000 people is so many, like I can't imagine 1000 individual people being sat behind their computer screens, watching a couple of my videos and actually wanting to see more on a regular basis. Of course every so often I get a nasty comment or whatever, but I get so, so many people saying positive things or even saying I'm their favourite youtuber (which is insane!) The majority of my subscribers are so sweet and I just wanted to give them the opportunity to get something in return to them being so lovely and supporting me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope it all goes to plan and that whoever wins replies/is an actual viewer of mine/can give me their address and that the package arrives to them safely. I don't think I've ever been so worried about sending something in the post.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, if you don't know me and are randomly seeing this, hello! If you'd like to enter I'd appreciate you watching a couple of my videos and actually WANTING to be subscribed to me rather than just do it to win a prize, simply because I paid for everything myself, put a lot of time and effort into choosing the prizes and really want someone who actually enjoys and supports my videos to win.</div>

Recently I've been looking up products and things to feature in my giveaway on my <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/meowismfulbeauty" target="_blank">youtube channel</a> in the near future. As a result of this I found the MUA Undressed Palette, which was cheap (£3 at the time of purchase, £4 usually, bought <a href="http://www.superdrug.com/eyes/mua-pro-pallette-undressed/invt/501051/" target="_blank">here</a>) which I've seen great reviews on so decided to try myself as well as get one to giveaway. </div>

It wasn't until I had used the palette one or two times when I realised the similarity between Shade 3 and Naked by UD. I then continued to see the similarity between Shade 1 and Virgin as well as Shade 2 and Sin before I decided to get my UD Naked Palette out to have a look.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Side by side I realise just how similar the colours are:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD_NcjShlTT9RIGRWKXKcyenXPaWRqxWuxVEiYHJqieZhveszVhOji1K2aIOEBg5uZ5eD1wUiMy369-duR_VDAchX9WzWHUGmwtJVfg80FZICPuo7uYee-c-tJH0XjBByiVpoYFTj9tGL-/s1600/mua+ud.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD_NcjShlTT9RIGRWKXKcyenXPaWRqxWuxVEiYHJqieZhveszVhOji1K2aIOEBg5uZ5eD1wUiMy369-duR_VDAchX9WzWHUGmwtJVfg80FZICPuo7uYee-c-tJH0XjBByiVpoYFTj9tGL-/s400/mua+ud.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I didn't really know how to feel about this, the fact the colours are basically identical and even in the same order, except one palette is £36, the other £4. Although I might add, the UDNP also comes with a Good Karma Shadow Brush (originally it came with a double ended 24/7 liner pencil) and a mini Primer Potion. The MUA Undressed Palette comes with a double ended sponge brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Before I had even noticed the similarity between the two, I noticed how creamy and well pigmented the MUA Undressed Palette is. I decided to do swatches to see if there was any significant difference:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6hgEey65K5HisKL8qGP_yEUGuOgeKPDV6A7t06hUF5iTaOiEykGy7DKY9qKrYK-Dwi8K9RuUhITRxuwjilnoUFQ9_3fdXJz6hN3b-5hqAGTz0M-bYBopxVmJXiQWlcnJntmkaodX4L4LJ/s1600/mua+ud+swatches.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="161" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6hgEey65K5HisKL8qGP_yEUGuOgeKPDV6A7t06hUF5iTaOiEykGy7DKY9qKrYK-Dwi8K9RuUhITRxuwjilnoUFQ9_3fdXJz6hN3b-5hqAGTz0M-bYBopxVmJXiQWlcnJntmkaodX4L4LJ/s400/mua+ud+swatches.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'd firstly like to apologise for the quality of the photo, I understand it's not the clearest of all but it's the best I could do.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Side by side and doing the swatches straight after each other, I definitely feel like the UDNP colours are more pigmented, slightly creamier and easier to swatch, however that doesn't mean the MUAUP is much below it. You can easily build up the colours and for £32 difference that's not something I mind doing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The colours are also pretty much the same, perhaps Shade 6 is a little yellower than Half Baked, and Shade 11 is a bit bluer than Creep, but from what I can tell they are basically the same palette in difference containers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Don't get me wrong, I don't regret buying the Naked Palette, I bought mine well over a year ago, have loved it ever since and have used it almost daily. I just feel like 'drugstore' standards are getting so high recently that I don't know if I'll need to purchase something high end again.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can purchase the MUA Undressed Palette <a href="http://www.superdrug.com/eyes/mua-pro-pallette-undressed/invt/501051/" target="_blank">here</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And the Urban Decay Naked Palette <a href="http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Urban+Decay+Naked+Palette/151534794,default,pd.html" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I saw in the Avon Catalogue that they had a "buy one get two free" offer on these color trend lipsticks, resulting in me buying six for £7 (£3.50 for one). Since buying these I think they have discontinued berry pink, so I do apologise. I'm not a massive lipstick wearer but I still really love them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly the packaging, nothing spectacular, quite cheap looking, plain and simple.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In these arm swatches below, I have only swiped once however I have found that these lipsticks are easily buildable, which you will see in my lip swatches.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I find the formula in all of these are really nice, all moisturising and not dry at all.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<img border="0" height="185" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi82slrxiFO7YUSUg2uFB2cKvlaYYimqjQ6Dve4lNdmZryRBM_DwfvnCFovauYD-4NFo9HuUSTM_X5Bg4pBjGpCGLSHy_Icm3Q0YrogDw59FszHJGZ7carhSvVspADbHN1EuOrE3EuIo-5f/s400/1.jpg" width="400" /> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I saw this foundation on an advert on TV the other day and thought it looked interesting, then today I went into Tesco and it was there for £5.99 when the normal price will be £7.99 so I decided to get it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm not a massive foundation fan, I don't like the feeling of <i>stuff </i>all over my face, my skin isn't too bad anyway so I don't really need it day-to-day and my face quite sensitive so if I use the wrong products my face is spot city. Nonetheless, I don't have many foundations and I wanted to experiment a bit.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><u>Packaging </u></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly the packaging: I like it. I think it looks sleek, kind of like a perfume bottle, I like how the glass goes in and I think 30ml is a good amount. The bright orange lid with the signature Rimmel London crown has a slight glitter at certain angles (which you can kind of see in the first picture) and reminds me of citrus fruits, which wakes me up (and matches the name ha so cheesy.)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTXc-42rCYJiB62-Fg_dV4cCYqabIHPUbFrp7S5aERh60Ed0qb7YEeMvARTTyZTqtCL20gthNpvUDTofGAXckWiNuTcXIDaNbKTD1MVPDcyTwbN8AOoWxBIijsMFvu8YoOJO1e-0giS5-f/s1600/3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTXc-42rCYJiB62-Fg_dV4cCYqabIHPUbFrp7S5aERh60Ed0qb7YEeMvARTTyZTqtCL20gthNpvUDTofGAXckWiNuTcXIDaNbKTD1MVPDcyTwbN8AOoWxBIijsMFvu8YoOJO1e-0giS5-f/s200/3.JPG" width="172" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It has a pump, which I like. I know a lot of foundations are ones you pour, and personally I'm very messy and I know that I would just waste loads and get it everywhere if I had a pour one. This way you can get a good size amount out neatly. My only concern with this would be when I reach near the end and I might be wasting product by not being able to get it out - but I may just twist the pump off completely if I get to that point and I'm desperate.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><u><br />
</u></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><u>Application</u></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiR7EYgO_o16fFuSu13tgSTnhdTIfICqnfjW6MSyjR_TMq-HAlrcYO93BILMUUsmgD303zbF6KXojKxG3JIFwpRow-P4ns43RZLy8hiwSag4fJYpwuqtjI-PVfRvVNScjtCGlFOebaKI2k_/s1600/2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiR7EYgO_o16fFuSu13tgSTnhdTIfICqnfjW6MSyjR_TMq-HAlrcYO93BILMUUsmgD303zbF6KXojKxG3JIFwpRow-P4ns43RZLy8hiwSag4fJYpwuqtjI-PVfRvVNScjtCGlFOebaKI2k_/s320/2.JPG" width="306" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To apply the foundation I used by Sigma F84 Angled Top Kabuki and went into the dents of my face (such as the sides of my nose) with my Sigma P82 Precision Round brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the purpose of this review, I didn't use concealer so I could see how much coverage it has on its own - I think it's light to medium coverage, more medium. I'm using the colour 200 Soft Beige, which is slightly too dark for me but with summer coming up I think it's a good shade (and it was the lightest shade in the shop.) I also noticed, both when I put a bit on my arm in the shop and applied it on my face, the foundation almost changes colour to suit your skin tone. It's not a feature it says it has, but I feel like when I put it on I was a bit like "woah" but after a bit of blending it looked much better. I like how it applies and I like the consistency. It's not runny at all but it's not too thick. One of the first things I noticed when I put it on my skin was the smell, it has a light fragrance, which I like, but you also have to be careful when applying fragrance products to the skin, especially the face. One blended, the smell goes away. It claims to wake up your skin and give it a "radiant glow and a flawless natural-looking finish". Now, I applied this at 3 in the afternoon so I was already pretty awake, but I definitely think it looks natural and glowy. I'm not so sure about flawless however I think you could easily build it up to have a higher coverage, and it did a pretty good job given that I haven't applied concealer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I personally have oily skin and avoid "dewy" finishes, but I do think this looks "glowy" and feels light and moisturising on my skin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTGReELDMCh_PYwBR4emFSr5dVcWjEVrCffMSxdgoO76XxqnPRQGqabIJg6bg7WINf0ei9qoAyipPtUs5uIZoRBcA6pSVwLX1d-hF339Fh0tGLe5d5VoEJ0ayslCgzJVPMthcnjKT9qFp-/s1600/before+after.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="160" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTGReELDMCh_PYwBR4emFSr5dVcWjEVrCffMSxdgoO76XxqnPRQGqabIJg6bg7WINf0ei9qoAyipPtUs5uIZoRBcA6pSVwLX1d-hF339Fh0tGLe5d5VoEJ0ayslCgzJVPMthcnjKT9qFp-/s400/before+after.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To set the foundation I used my Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder with my Sigma F30 Large Powder brush. I applied this lightly just to set it, rather than give more coverage.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
In the picture above, the picture with flash is actually more accurate to the colour the foundation actually is, however this foundation is SPF 15, meaning you have to be careful around flash photography.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I do like that it has SPF in it, especially for everyday use because the face on your skin is delicate and sensitive however if you were to use this somewhere with flash photography it can make your face appear white. This isn't so much specific to the foundation itself, just general knowledge which should be considered.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall, from what I can tell so far, I like this foundation. It feels light and moisturising on my skin and gives a nice natural finish.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once trying this out a few times I'll come back to this review and write an end verdict.</div>

So I've been eyeing H&M make-up for quite some time but never really found a reason to buy it, especially because a lot of it is bright colours and I mostly wear neutrals. However looking in the January sales I saw that this palette had gone down from £6 to £3 so I thought, go on then!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd firstly like to apologise for the fact the pictures of the palette are not from when it was completely untouched as I couldn't find my camera when I first bought it however I have hardly made a dent and it doesn't make much of a difference.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5aAIb3dL_aoPUtXkyM_usU3pulxvwaaFNx4u2BbdpyWoQv_nRA6aKJ3hpdKEL-__QgczTTcy4fNVAT1ZW2Zt-fUGm_ToI3Xb5hToSaiHAY7sRWVTl08Itk_9SCdA8mz851vIkHFyaUVJm/s1600/1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5aAIb3dL_aoPUtXkyM_usU3pulxvwaaFNx4u2BbdpyWoQv_nRA6aKJ3hpdKEL-__QgczTTcy4fNVAT1ZW2Zt-fUGm_ToI3Xb5hToSaiHAY7sRWVTl08Itk_9SCdA8mz851vIkHFyaUVJm/s320/1.JPG" width="320" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So this is what it looks like and the first thing I notice are the shell like patterns in the shadows. I think this is a really nice, simple effect which distract you from the kind of cheap looking packaging.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It comes with two double ended sponge brushes, which personally I won't be using, but I think are useful for people first coming into make-up, especially with the cheap price.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think the colour range itself is good, it has a couple of neutrals and a couple of colours, all quite subtle and with a hint of glitter/shimmer. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think the colours themselves have good colour pay off overall, especially the dark navy (#9). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The worst colour pay offs I would say are the white (#1) and the lilac (#10) although they are both light colours. I think I can live with the white being not overly pigmented though, as I would use this as a highlight in my inner corner of the eye and below my brow bone to bright a subtle amount of light to my eyes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The formulation is good but I think the pinker shades (#5, #6 and #10) are a bit more powdery than the rest, nothing a bit of blending couldn't beat though.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My favourites are probably #4, which is a lovely orangey gold, #7, which is a beautiful sea green and #8 which is a bright ocean blue.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For everyday wear though, #1, #2 and #3 are all great.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Overall I think that this is a good palette for £3-£6.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I do think I will be trying other H&M make-up products.<br />

Immediately when I removed this from the packaging I said wow to myself! The marble effect is beautiful and eye catching. I personally bought this colour because I love the look of purple lipstick but I'm nowhere near brave enough to go out wearing it. This lipstick is moisturising and quite sheer, which is perfect for me. You can build it up to create a more intense look but nothing too dramatic.</div>

This one isn't so amazing when you take it out the box, but I think it is a nice colour that would suit a lot of skin tones. It's definitely less orange than it looks in the picture, it's more like a purpley shade of pink with a slight hint of orange. A nice consistency that isn't drying at all. It's quite a bit more pigmented than Lilac Shimmer too.<br />

This lipstick is so pretty and again, the picture is a lot more orange than it really is. This looks more like a subtle hot pink (if that's possible) with tiny beautiful specks of orangey/gold glitter and shimmer. Like Lilac Shimmer, it's very moisturising and quite sheer but able to be built up. It's a colour that looks both subtle and natural on the lips but also eye catching and bold.<br />

I bought this eyeliner because I bought one like this about a year ago and I really liked it. I use kohl eyeliners for my waterline only so I apologise that my opinions will be based on this. The original one I tried (as far as I can remember) lastest a long time on my waterline and was a good, true black colour.<br />
<br />
For those of you who do use kohl for their top lid, the smudger brush may be of interest to you. It's a thick rubbery material that's sturdy but flexible. The old smudger was attached over the pencil which after a while came off (which I slipped back on) and I also felt it wasted some of the pencil. My only other cartilage piercing is my tragus (on my other ear which I got pierced on 11/09/2010) and that's been giving me problems for so long and I wish I had made a note of exactly what happened and what I did for future reference. I haven't wanted to get anything else done while it was still gross, but I decided 10 months later I was bored of waiting and got my helix, nothing too complex but still a bit more than a standard lobe.<br />
<br />
Day One 15/08/2011:<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">15/05/2011 - The day it was pierced</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
So I went into the piercer place at around 3 o'clock where a lovely girl greeted me and I told her what I wanted. She offered me the option of a stud (there was a selection and studs were the cheapest deal) or a BCR (different metals with different pricings), I asked which healed better as I've heard studs do, which she replied studs, so I got that. I filled in a form and paid for the piercing. The place was empty except her, me and my boyfriend so she just went in to the clean piercey bit and set everything up then called me in when she was ready.<br />
She asked where abouts I wanted it, so I pointed, she said "quite high up then?" I said, "yeah just a little further than the middle". She then drew a dot (which can be changed if you don't like the placement, but I did) then proceeded. She asked if I was nervous, which I was a little, although I'm not scared of needles it's just the prospect of having something sharp shoved through your ear.<br />
She told me to breath in as she did it and basically told me to keep breathing as she then put in the jewelery then put the butterfly on the back. She told me it would take around 3 months before I could change the jewelery, try not to touch it or sleep on that side and to wash it twice a day with salt water, she also gave me an information sheet. I was then done and left, the actual piercing barely took a minute.<br />
The pain of when it is actually being pierced to me kind of felt like how it does when someone pinches you really hard with their nails, bearable but unpleasant. She said it would feet quite "hot" for the rest of the day (to me it was kind of how it does when you stretch your ear) however this only lasted for about 5 minutes and then just felt a bit sore.<br />
<br />
Day Two 16/08/2011:<br />
My technique so far for cleaning this piercing is using a hot salt water compress, like I have recently been doing to try and "cure" my tragus, however not for as long and afterwards going in with a cotton bud with salt water on just to make sure there's no sort of crust lingering.<br />
There is virtually no more pain apart from if I knock it, for example when putting on a jumper or pulling my hair back.<br />
I have tried to keep my hair out of its way as much as possible and will continue to do so this week to try and keep the least amount of dirt in it as possible (like any dirt or grease from my hair).<br />
I've only slept one night and it's something to get used to. Before I got my tragus pierced I was used to sleeping on the other side, but I trained myself to sleep the other way whilst it was healing, and now I need to retrain myself to go back to wear I was! (If that made any sense at all)<br />
<br />
Day Four 18/08/2011<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">18/08/2011 (straight after cleaning)</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Today it's been really sore, like a pretty much constant pain for the first time since I got it pierced. It also looks pretty red (the picture is just after I cleaned it so is a bit redder than it has been) but i'm super paranoid. I accidentally hit it properly today, well not properly but like it hurt so badly when I was combing my hair after a shower and I accidentally hit it (I now dread showers because the whole process of washing/combing hair can get painful.) I haven't slept on it or anything so I don't know why it's gone like this and I'm hoping it's just a phase or something..<br />

23/08/2011 - One week and a day after pierced <br />

All is well so far! The constant pain from before only happened for that day and since it's been good. I still don't sleep on it directly but if I position my pillows/hands right I can sleep on that side. There's been no swelling since and no redness apart from after being cleaned (like in the picture above).<br />

<br />
This picture's just to show you how it looks normally at the moment (instead of after cleaning when it's bright red!)<br />
<br />
25/08/2011<br />
All is well with my helix. It started to be a little itchy in the afternoon, but after googling it I found that it's quite common and means it's healing (I had no other symptoms) which is good. :)<br />
<br />
04/09/2011<br />
Until now I've had no trouble with my helix. I've continued cleaning it - admittedly not as thoroughly as I had been and perhaps missing a clean or two due to the days schedule (I always clean it at least once a day though). I've been able to sleep on it (ish) with little discomfort except the back of the stud digging into my neck/head, so I tend to get a pillows to position my ear in a way so it's not leaning on anything. However when I was cleaning it a few minutes ago, I saw a little blood on my cotton ball. I was surprised because I literally felt nothing. The blood was still "wet" (as apposed to being dried up) so I wiped away what came out however I'm going to leave it for the night (rather than check and clean up anymore than comes out in case I aggrivate it). I'll check it in the morning and obviously wipe away any blood that may have dried up in the night. From googling it, it doesn't seem like a big deal, especially if there are no other symptoms and as it's a new piercing. I may have knocked it at some point and not realised.<br />
<br />
12/09/11<br />
I know it's been over a week, but I've had no bleeding since. I was going to update the morning after saying this but I figured I would wait a little while to see if it bled again - so far nothing. As far as I'm aware, healing is going well. I do admit to slacking on cleaning though.. I really need to make sure I do it.<br />
<br />
16/08/12<br />
It's been a year! I actually missed a part out where I didn't want to take a picture but it was gross, but basically a few months ago it was hideously pusy and gross due to me changing the jewellery (for the better, I have since learned butterfly back earrings are not appropriate for helix piercings, the crusties get so caught up in them it's gross.) After consistently cleaning it, but not overly, it got better.<br />
Currently, it's lovely! I have (I think) a 6mm titanium labret bar in it currently and it fits beautifully. I think my body isn't a fan of stainless steel, I know it's rare to be allergic to it but my bodies a bit funny with piercings anyway so it wouldn't surprise me.<br />
